Building the Local Church

Building the Local Church

I love the local church.  I love being a pastor and engaging the people of God in a variety of ways.  I'm passionate about worship and encountering God's presence on a regular basis.  I enjoy encouraging God's people through speaking and writing with a goal of pushing them towards authentic and transparent walks of faith.

I believe the glory of God shines through His local body and I feel honored to serve Him at my local church in Oklahoma.  Over the past decade of doing ministry, I've learned a lot about leading teams, getting congregations to sing, effective communication and even what it's like to survive the grueling parts of doing ministry.

I believe the local church is the beacon of hope for our communities and that loving and grace-filled interaction with the people God has placed in our circles of influence is where lives are changed.  In a time where "being" the church has taken over the push to simply "go" to church; the way we engage God in worship and equip our congregations with truth is paramount.

Welcome to my journey of seeking Jesus in a local church.  I would love to start a conversation with you about your journey and your local church.
