This Memorial Day, I’m thankful for those that laid down their lives so I can live in the freedom I too often take for granted.
I have so many choices because of the men and women that gave their very lives to ensure and protect my freedom.
To the families that remember loved ones today, we say “thank you” to the sacrifice and price you have paid.
I know for a some, patriotic holidays can be a mixed bag. On Memorial Day, however, the least we can do is express gratitude for the ones that were willing to fight for our beliefs, opinions and our freedom to express them.
